Florida Data Science for Social Good (FL-DSSG) at the University of North Florida hosts an AI challenge that encourages students to work in teams. Students are encouraged to form teams consisting of those who are confident in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation. The competition problem cases would require students to tackle real-world social and environmental issues impacting Florida.

On Saturday, students will collaborate, explore curated Florida social & environmental datasets, and build AI‑powered solutions with their teams.

On Sunday, teams pitch their solutions to a panel of industry experts, and awards go to the top three middle and high school teams. All are welcome to attend the presentations.
