Our Commitment to the Community
JAX Business Calendar was built to make it easier to find the right rooms, the right conversations, and the right opportunities across Jacksonville’s business community.

What We Collect (and Why)
Information you choose to share may include your name, email address, business or organization name, event information, newsletter sign-up, or a message you send us.
Why: To publish and promote useful event information, send communications you requested, respond to you, and support the business community.
Our website and service providers may also collect limited technical information such as IP address, approximate location from IP, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, and cookie or similar identifiers.
Why: To keep the site working, understand what people use, measure performance, improve the experience, and protect the Platform.
We do not intentionally ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, health information, biometric identifiers, or precise geolocation.
Cookies, Analytics & Your Choices
We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site. Others help us understand our audience and measure communications or marketing.

AI & Automation — Plainly Explained

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email. We may keep a limited record of an opt-out so we can respect it.
Your Privacy Requests
You can contact us to ask about personal information we maintain about you, request a correction or deletion, withdraw a consent you previously gave, or ask a privacy question.
Privacy laws vary and may apply only when certain legal thresholds are met. Even when a specific law does not require a particular right, we will make reasonable efforts to help with legitimate requests.

Children’s Privacy
JAX Business Calendar is built for a general business and professional audience, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
How We Protect Information
We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to personal information based on operational need. No online system can promise perfect security, but protecting the information entrusted to us is a responsibility we take seriously.
If a data incident triggers legal notification requirements, we will respond and provide required notices.
Third-Party Event & Website Links
We connect people to organizers, ticketing pages, social platforms, partners, and other websites. Once you leave our Platform, those third parties control their own privacy practices. Please review their policies when sharing information with them.
Transparency & Updates
As our Platform and tools change, our privacy practices may change too. When they do, we’ll update our policies and the “Last Updated” date, and provide additional notice when appropriate or required.
