The 7th Annual Great Cities Symposium brings together civic leaders, professionals, and engaged community members for an evening focused on how thoughtful planning can shape stronger, more resilient cities. This year’s featured speaker is Mitchell Silver, an internationally recognized urban planner, author, and consultant with more than four decades of experience in city planning, parks, placemaking, and implementation. Drawing on leadership roles in New York City, Raleigh, and the American Planning Association, Silver will share insights from communities that have successfully addressed urban challenges and created more vibrant public spaces. The evening also includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres from Biscottis, and time for conversation with other attendees interested in Jacksonville’s future.
