Build Week: Kady Yellow Placemaking Platform is a weeklong technology build event focused on turning Kady Yellow’s proven placemaking playbook into a software platform that cities can use to support public space transformation. Developers from across Jacksonville will work to build a platform that helps manage the key parts of the process, including permits, funding, guidance, and connecting residents with the public spaces they want to improve. The project is rooted in Kady Yellow’s work helping cities activate underused spaces through resident-led placemaking. The week concludes with Proof Night, where teams will demo working technology live. After Build Week, Duval Software will continue the project toward commercial rollout, beginning in Jacksonville and expanding to other cities.
