City of Jacksonville Financial Fitness Day is a free, family-focused event centered on practical financial education, local resources, and hands-on learning. Adults can take part in workshops on growing, managing, and protecting money, with topics including saving, budgeting, fraud prevention, scams, identity theft, and long-term financial stability. Teens ages 13–18 can participate in an interactive Reality Fair that simulates real-world financial decisions involving careers, monthly income, housing, transportation, insurance, food, savings, and everyday expenses. The event also includes a community resource fair, networking opportunities, lunch and refreshments, giveaways, and prizes. It is designed to give families useful tools and information they can apply to everyday financial decisions while connecting them with local organizations and financial experts.
