JaxALA Community Connection Event: Domestic Violence Awareness Flag Planting is an in-person community support event held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. JaxALA attendees will participate in Hubbard House’s annual flag planting event in front of the Duval County Clerk of Courts. Each purple flag represents an Injunction for Protection filed during the previous year, creating a visible reminder of the number of people in the community who sought protection. The event is designed as a meaningful opportunity for JaxALA members and supporters to stand with those impacted by domestic violence and show support for the broader Jacksonville community.
