Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) helps business owners and CEOs think more creatively and efficiently about how they manage their companies. Participants work on what matters in the success of their business. Community building is a key to the success of this program. Participants can learn from one another, find new business partnerships and opportunities, and gain a lifetime resource to help them navigate business struggles.

This program is ideal for:
• CEOs, presidents, business owners, and entrepreneurs. Nonprofits are eligible if they have a revenue-generating component of their organization. Candidates must be actively involved in running the business.
• Businesses operating for at least three years
• Companies with three or more employees (including the owner(s) and independent contractors)

Topics covered are in the Small Business Executive Program: Strategic Thinking, Business Model Canvas, Marketing, Human Resources, Communication Strategies, Exit Strategy, Mitigating Risk, Standard Operating Procedures, Mental Health, Intellectual Property, Leadership, and Understanding Key Financial Numbers.

Up to twenty participants will be accepted into the program. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2026. Sessions are in person, and scheduled for August 26, September 2, 16, 30, and October 7, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the JMI office off Salisbury Rd. There is no cost to participate.
