Strengthening nonprofit impact sometimes means looking beyond traditional partnerships and exploring new ways of working together. The Sustained Collaboration Community Clinics are designed for Executive Directors and Board leaders to understand the spectrum of sustained collaboration, including shared services, joint programming, and mergers. These 2-hour facilitated sessions will cover various collaboration models and focus on the first stage of the merger process: Assessment. Participants will engage in presentations, discussions, and practical activities to explore their readiness for strategic partnerships, desired outcomes, and the impact of organizational culture on collaboration success. They will also learn how to identify potential partners and assess their organization’s tolerance for growth and change. The clinics provide a neutral environment for nonprofit leaders to build a shared understanding and determine whether deeper collaboration could strengthen their mission. Attendees will leave with practical tools and a clearer sense of next steps, whether that involves continued exploration or a more formal partnership process.
