True North Strategy Workshop

Organizer: JSEB - City of Jacksonville
The True North Strategy Workshop explores how business culture is shaped through everyday decisions, often without being intentionally designed. The session focuses on the structural choices that can create founder dependency and examines how businesses can build clearer systems for decision-making, knowledge sharing, and communication. Attendees will learn about three core areas: authority distribution, including who is empowered to make decisions; documented processes, including what happens when critical knowledge lives with only one person; and feedback loops, including how consistently team members receive information about their performance. Led by Grace Deyo, the workshop is designed for business owners and leaders interested in building organizations that can function with greater clarity and less dependence on the founder.
