The session will walk through building a real function from scratch, one concept at a time, using a practical SQL Server administration example. Attendees can expect to learn how to move away from copying and pasting scripts and instead create a Get-SqlServerHealth function that can check every SQL Server instance in a registered server group, produce an inventory and health report, and send results to Excel or the clipboard.
